One of the most hypnotising valleys in the Garhwal Himalayas is located at an elevation of 4,000 metres (12,000 feet), and it is accessed through the Har Ki Dun Trek. In addition to that, it is also known as “The Valley of Gods,” which is another name for it. The valley is stunningly encircled by alpine greenery and is home to an exceptionally diverse collection of flora and fauna. This valley is the primary watershed that contributes to the Yamuna River and is linked to Baspa Valley by way of the Borasu Pass. Itinerary Details

  • Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Sankri

    The Har ki Doon Trek Organiser will leave Dehradun in the wee hours of the morning to begin the journey. Your travel to Sankri is scheduled to start at 6:30 in the morning. You will make your way along National Highway 123 and travel a total distance of 210 km throughout your excursion. It might take up to nine hours to go to Sankri, but during that time, your eyes will be treated to a variety of beautiful sights along the road. On the trip to Sankri, you will stop at a number of interesting and enjoyable locations. You will go through the interesting destinations like Mussoorie, Kempty fall, and Purola as you wind your way down the winding roadways. 13 km inside Govind National Park is where you will set up your tent and make your home for the night.

  • Day 2: From Sankri to Taluka drive and then trek to Puani Garaat

You will eventually reach flat ground, which is known as Kalkatiyadhaar, and this will be your next campsite if you continue to climb.

  • Day 4: From Kalkatiyadhaar to Har Ki Dun Trek and return

It will take you around 5 hours to reach the destination after descending approximately 3,500 feet. After indulging in a scrumptious breakfast, you will be able to enjoy some relaxing and undemanding hiking during the next 6.5 km. The allure of the Himalayan range will inspire you to trek farther and for longer periods of time. While travelling to your tent in Puani Garaat, you will once again have the opportunity to capture random moments featuring snow-covered peaks.

  • Day 6: Trek from Puani Garaat to Taluka and drive to Sankri

    After an exhausting day yesterday, we are going to make our way back to Puani Garaat, where we started. This outing will take you back through Osla at some point along the road. It will take you around 5 hours to reach the destination after descending approximately 3,500 feet. After indulging in a scrumptious breakfast, you will be able to enjoy some relaxing and undemanding hiking during the next 6.5 km. The allure of the Himalayan range will inspire you to trek farther and for longer periods of time. While travelling to your tent in Puani Garaat, you will once again have the opportunity to capture random moments featuring snow-covered peaks.

  • Day 7: Drive from Sankri to Dehradun

    On this day, we shall reluctantly embark on our journey away from Sankri. The magnificent and mind-boggling journey has finally come to an end today. Because the trip to Dehradun is going to take around 9 to 10 hours, we will have to get an early start in the morning so that we can make it there on time. Trekking Pants - 2

Shirts or T-shirts, between two and three

A windproof jacket of reasonable quality (no wind cheaters made of cheap material, please!) ideally one that includes a hood.

Sweater made of wool or fleece that is strong and warm and has long sleeves.
